It is really important that you choose the right music path. You don’t want to spend time and money learning something just to realize that is not the one you wanted to learn in the first place. When it comes to learning guitar, you want to know which is the difference between Classical, Acoustic and Electric Guitar and which Music Style you will learn. I have put together a short video showing you the difference between the three type of Guitars. If you are still confused, please, send me an email and I will be happy to help you picking up the right one. Remember that the first lesson is free of change so you can always come to see and learn in person. Trust me, it’s important that you choose the right instrument for you!
This is the video showing your the difference between Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and Electric Guitar.
The Classical Guitar
The Classical Guitar is a beautiful and romantic instrument. It is usually used for Classical Music. With this guitar you will be able to study classical repertoire and well as classical guitar technique like plucking and fingerstyle technique. Scales and arpeggio will help you improve your technique and the pieces will increase in difficulty step by step. This is my favorite instrument.
The Acoustic Guitar
The Acoustic Guitar is one of the most popular instrument on earth. With this guitar you will learn chords, strumming as well as fingertysle and chord melody pieces. During the last ten years a new wave of players introduced techniques like percussion and tapping. Definitely an instrument that keeps evolving. Most of beginners starts with and acoustic guitar.
The Electric Guitar
The Electric Guitar is a really cool and versatile instrument. You can play many different style and techniques. Usually suitable for Blues, Rock, Funk and Jazz. The electric guitar became popular with guitarist like Jimi Hendrix, Santana, BB King and many others. Choose this instrument if you would like to learn from Rock to Jazz.
