Let me tell you a story.
The Busy Guy
I refer to the “Busy Guy” as somebody who always wanted to learn how to play Acoustic Guitar but never really put an effort and tried. The “Busy Guy” plays a bit of guitar. He keeps going on and on with the few chords he knows. Sometimes he tries something more difficult but eventually get stuck and quit in few minutes. He thinks that people who learn guitar are “Luky” or “Blessed”. He convinced himself he doesn’t have time. Things like “I am too busy so I can’t learn how to play Guitar” or “If I only had time I will do it”.
The Ninja is busy like the “Busy Guy” and knows the same few chords. One day he decided he wanted to learn more about chords and rhythm. He started to think about how he could actually find extra time for a bit of practicing. After 30 minutes he realized that with a bit of sacrifice he could put a lesson on Friday evening after work for six moths. He also set up a weekly routine of 30 minutes worth of practice on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday after work. After six months his playing was much better. He felt really motivated and happy.
The Question is: Are you the Busy Guy or the Ninja?
Do you procrastinate or you like to take action?
